The official opening of the new ‘South Central Institute of Technology’ (SCIoT) building in Bletchley took place on Thursday 22nd June with a suitably impressive ceremony. The SCIoT specialises in the delivery of technical and digital education.
Over 150 people attended the event, including the CEO and Chair of Trustees of The CyberHub Trust.
Guests were treated to speeches from Alex Warner (Principal Milton Keynes College Group), Sally Alexander (CEO Milton Keynes College Group), Elizabeth Sheldon (Retired Executive Director at CCL Group), and Deborah Mungai (Alumni & Digital Tech Entrepreneur) and attendees were given the opportunity to explore zones linked to the IoT’s value (Connect, Challenge, Include and Innovate), with displays and presentations from teaching teams, students and Anchor-partners including Microsoft, KPMG and CCL Solutions Group.
