In January 2022, candidates who had registered for the DfE funded ‘In-Work’ Training Programme arrived at the Barking & Dagenham College SOC to commence work on the Cyber Security Analyst Training course.
Candidates from companies ranging from HRMC, Amazon, Tik Tok and the National Archives, to IT professionals from a range of councils, including Croydon, Barking & Richmond, had registered to attend free Training, as part of the government’s National Up-skilling Programme. Once the DfE completes a review of the success of the Pilot, it is expected that the Trust will roll-out similar training programmes across all of its College SOCs.
