A SOC Experience Day was hosted at the Barking & Dagenham College in June 2021.
Students were invited to attend the event, where they could sit in the SOC, alongside qualified and experienced Cyber Security technicians & analysts, observing what the work entails and even participating in some of the activity, gaining invaluable Work Experience in the process. One student had even travelled all the way from the Birmingham Metropolitan College (where he is completing his Level 3 studies) to attend the event. This provided hands-on experience enabling him to make a more informed decision about how best to proceed with his studies/apprenticeship towards a career in Cyber.
