Service Providers

The CyberHub Trust has appointed BIT Group as a Primary Service Provider

Our Business Model requires expert and specialist cyber security services, which are provided by appropriately vetted Service Providers. They are recommended by the Trust and legally contracted by colleges to provide the agreed cyber security services (all, or specified pillars of The Model – Community Outreach, Training, Work & Learn or Employer Services).

Service Providers manage the Secure Operations Centres. They partner with educators – and oversee cyber security training and education, as well as provide work experience, shadowing and Apprenticeships. Importantly, they also manage the commercial aspect whereby CyberHub SOCs provide local employers with cyber security and cyber testing services. This element allows colleges to generate an income and the Trust to derive some of its administrative funding from the income generated by the SOCs.

A Secure Operations Centre

Service Providers also support Community Outreach Programmes, where members of local communities (schoolchildren, parents, senior citizens, etc.) are provided with Cyber training and education, as well as services where appropriate (e.g. services to local charities).

The Trust has appointed BIT Group (BluescreenIT Ltd.) as the initial CyberHub Service Provider. They provide services to colleges in Barking & Dagenham in London, Liverpool and Birmingham. They have significant experience in the field and work closely with Law Enforcement and government bodies.

BIT Group

BIT Group (BluescreenIT Ltd.) is a specialist IT and Security Training and Apprenticeship Provider, offering short, intensive technical IT training courses – CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, Check Point, ISC2 and many more qualifications.
